barton skyway:

This modern home in Barton Hills integrates contemporary architecture with its natural surroundings. A contrasting mix of Douglas Fir siding, soft gray brick, and expansive glass balances privacy from the street with openness to the rear yard. The design prioritizes the root zones of mature oak trees, pushing the rear of the house to the side property line and allowing the primary suite to nest at the back for greater privacy from active living areas. An unusually wide property enabled a side-facing garage, avoiding a front facade dominated by a garage door.

Clean lines, thoughtful material choices, and a balanced composition make this residence a standout example of modern design in one of Austin’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
